Before connecting Instagram to Reportei through Facebook, check these requirements to avoid connection errors. This guide describes the Facebook login flow.
1. Use a professional Instagram profile: Business or Creator
- In the Instagram mobile app, open your account settings. If you see “Switch to professional account”, your account is personal; follow the steps to convert it.
- Choose a Business or Creator account.
- If prompted to connect a Facebook Page, select a Page for which you have administrator access. Connecting the Page during setup helps avoid problems with the link between the accounts.
Only eligible Pages you manage appear in the list.
2. Link the Instagram profile to a Facebook Page
- A Facebook Page can be linked to one professional Instagram profile.
- In Instagram’s account settings, open the linked-account or Facebook Page settings and connect the Page. Menu names may vary with app updates.
Sign in to Facebook with an account that has administrator access to the Page you want to link.
3. Check your Facebook permissions
- Make sure your access to the Facebook Page includes the permissions needed to connect it to Reportei.
- Check the Page’s Settings and its Page access/roles section. The exact menu label depends on the Page experience.
