How post approval works in Flux

The post approval flow in Flux allows a client, manager, or any chosen person to review the posts before they are scheduled or published, approving each post or requesting adjustments directly through a review link without needing platform access.

Each action of the reviewer is saved individually and in real-time , meaning that no approval or request for adjustment is lost even if the reviewer only reviewed a few posts and not all, and closes in the middle of the process.

There are two ways to send a post for approval individually or via Approval Group The group option is interesting when you want to send content for several days, two weeks, or an entire month to the client. You can organize your Approval Group folders in the best way to maintain control.

When sending posts for approval, either individually or via Group, Flux generates a review link that can be shared with the person responsible for validating the content. In this link, the reviewer sees

  • The preview of each post, image or video, caption, and target network
  • The date and time of the expected publication if you opted for pre-scheduling
  • The available actions for that post Keep request approve or Edit request request adjustment

The reviewer can navigate between pending posts and act on each one individually at their own pace

Approval and adjustment request post by post

For each publication, the reviewer chooses between two actions

  • Keep request approves the post as it is, releasing it for publication
  • Edit request indicates that something needs to be changed and can leave a comment explaining the required adjustment

As soon as one of these actions is done, it is saved immediately it is not necessary to reach the end of the list of posts or confirm a general review for that specific feedback to be recorded

Real-time tracking in Flux

As soon as the reviewer approves a post or requests an adjustment, three things happen automatically in Flux

  1. The status of the post is updated to Approved or Adjustment Requested
  2. The reviewer’s feedback appears in the post details window in the pending actions tab or the history
  3. You receive an immediate in-app notification without needing to wait for the reviewer to complete all reviews

This means that even if the reviewer stops the process before finishing, everything already evaluated remains available and visible in Flux normally

How email notification works

Unlike real-time updates within Flux, the summary email is sent aggregated to avoid notification overload. It arrives at one of these two moments

  • When the reviewer completes the entire flow of post review
  • After 1 hour of inactivity if the reviewer leaves or stops reviewing in the middle of the process; in this case, the email includes all reviews done up to that point

In other words, tracking in Flux happens post by post and in real-time, while the email arrives consolidated with everything that has already been reviewed
