How to integrate Klaviyo in Reportei

To connect your Klaviyo account to Reportei, follow these steps

  1. Access your account on Reportei
  2. Enter the project where you want to connect the integration
  3. Go to the Integrations area
  4. Look for Klaviyo
  5. Click on Connect
  6. Log in to your Klaviyo account if prompted
  7. Authorize access by clicking Allow or Permitir
  8. After authorization, you will be redirected back to Reportei

After that, the integration will be available for use in the selected project

If the authorization is denied, the integration will not be activated. To complete the connection, you will need to start the process again and allow the requested access.

  5. Choose the analysis period

Depending on the plan contracted, the data can also be used in other Reportei features like automations, Indicator Control, AI analyses, and others.

Necessary permissions for integration

During connection, Klaviyo may request permissions for Reportei to access the data necessary for the integration’s functionality.

These permissions are used to consult and display information within Reportei. Reportei uses the authorized data only to provide functionalities such as reports, dashboards, analyses, and support related to the integration.

How to remove or deactivate the integration

You can remove the integration at any time within Reportei.

To remove

  1. Access the project on Reportei
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Find the Klaviyo integration
  4. Click on Remove, Disconnect, or an equivalent option
  5. Confirm the removal

When removing the integration, Reportei will stop accessing new data from the connected account. Where applicable, the authorization will also be revoked with Klaviyo.

Common issues

The authorization was denied

This happens when the user denies authorization or closes the screen before completing the process. To resolve it, start the connection again and click on Allow or Permitir to authorize access.

I didn’t find data after connecting

After connecting the integration, it may take a few moments for the data to become available on Reportei. Additionally, it’s important to check if

  • the connected account has campaigns or forms with data
  • the user has appropriate permissions on the Klaviyo account
  • the authorization was completed correctly
  • the integration appears as connected in Reportei
  • the selected period has available data

The data looks different from Klaviyo

If the data displayed in Reportei is different from the information viewed in Klaviyo, we recommend checking a few points

  • if the period selected in Reportei is the same as used in Klaviyo
  • if you are comparing the same type of data, such as email campaigns or forms
  • if the metric being compared is exactly the same in both places
  • if there are filters applied in the report, dashboard, or in Klaviyo itself
  • if the integration is connected correctly in the project
