How to integrate Twilio with Reportei

It is now possible to integrate Twilio into Reportei and thus track your communications data directly in your reports and dashboards

The Twilio is a communication platform used by companies to build and manage different types of interactions with their customers. Among the main supported channels are SMS, WhatsApp, calls, and email, in addition to other solutions focused on communication and relationship.

Therefore, it is a widely used tool as infrastructure for products and operations that send large volumes of messages or need to track communications made with their users.

The integration is available for users starting from the Premium Plan in Reportei.

What is possible to track

By integrating Twilio, you can bring metrics and visualizations to Reportei such as

  • Total messages
  • Sent messages
  • Received messages
  • Total spend
  • Delivered messages
  • Undelivered messages
  • Delivery rate
  • Failure rate
  • Total calls
  • Answer rate
  • Call minutes
  • Average call duration
  • Messages over time chart
  • Messages by channel chart
  • Spend over time chart
  • Sent messages by status table
  • Calls by status table
  • Spend by product table

This way, it becomes much easier to track the volume and cost of your communications along with other marketing channels.

Important

  • Currently, the integration with Twilio is in Alpha.
  • If your account has subaccounts, connect with the credentials of the main account and choose which account will be used in the report; a subaccount is not accessible with an API Key.
  • Reportei only reads the data. As Twilio keeps message and call records for 13 months, reports from older periods show volume and cost but do not provide delivery details.
  • Twilio does not release usage and cost data in Trial accounts That is, it is possible to connect a Trial account normally, but the volume and cost metrics only start to bring data after the account upgrade.
