Reportei 3.0 retirement: 2021 migration notice

Historical notice from October 2021: this article records the retirement of Reportei 3.0 and the migration to version 4.0. Its dates and screenshots refer to that transition, not to a current scheduled change.

Reportei 3.0 was retired so development could focus on the new version and new integrations. Reportei 4.0 launched in July 2021 with a redesigned interface and infrastructure that made updates easier to deliver.

What changed?

The announcement explained that access to Reportei would continue and existing reports from the old version would not be affected. Version 3.0 would no longer receive updates or bug fixes, as development moved to the new version.

  • The 3.0 interface remained available into early November 2021. Users were encouraged to switch to 4.0 beforehand.
  • By the end of November 2021, the 3.0 interface was no longer to be available. During the transition, users could still generate 4.0 reports using the discontinued old template, although the new Default template was recommended.
  • From December 2021, new reports and dashboards could no longer be generated using the old-version template.

Migration instructions given at the time

Even for users already on the new version, the recommendations were:

  • Review old templates and create replacements from reports using version 4.0’s Default template.
  • Create and configure new automations in the new version.

These steps moved reporting fully to the new version and avoided reliance on retired features.

How users identified the new version

Users still on the old version could use the switch-to-new-version button shown here:
