Learn to create and save report templates in Reportei in 4 steps

Without a doubt, the option to create and save report templates in Reportei is one of the most important features for those who want more practicality to analyze results and ease in communicating them to clients.

By structuring a unique design you can add or keep only the most important metrics, change the order of social networks, and add analysis with your perception of events.

But the best part, without a doubt, is being able to use this template as many times as you want afterwards without the need to customize everything again.

That’s why in this article we have prepared a step-by-step guide with 4 stages for you to learn how to create, save, and reuse your design. Let’s go!

Step 1: Generate a customizable report in Reportei

The customizable report of Reportei, launched in version 3 of the tool, was a way we found to give more freedom to marketing professionals to communicate more clearly and objectively with their clients.

Besides offering a greater amount of media to be analyzed it allows you to create your own template by adding, deleting, or rearranging metrics, analysis, and charts.

To create your first personalized report, you just need to access the client area and click on the option New report and then on Customizable Select the analysis period, the information comparison period, and finally the media you wish to analyze.

By clicking Continue, an automatic report from Reportei will be generated in just three seconds and you can modify it as much as you want to fit your client’s style.

Step 2: Customize with metrics, charts, and analysis

With your model in hand, it’s time to organize the information and change the design so that the most important information is highlighted and makes sense for the decision maker.

In this way, using the drag and drop method for blocks, you have complete freedom to:

  • add, delete or change the position of metrics according to the project’s priorities
  • add open-ended analysis with your interpretation of results anywhere in the report so that the client understands the decisions made and the next steps to follow. Besides text, you can attach videos and images in this area too
  • define which metrics and charts should appear or not in highlight by increasing or decreasing the sizes of your blocks
  • organize the order in which social networks appear according to what is most important for the decision maker

Making these changes is very simple, and we have an article on the blog that shows step-by-step all the possibilities described above Click here to consult

Report templates in Reportei can be saved and used whenever you want for the same project or in any other.

Therefore, once you finish your unique design, all you need to do is click on the button Save as template in the tool’s lower bar and fill in the box that appears with a title to help identify it.

After that, just click on Save new template and that’s it. Your personalized report will be available for you and for all clients registered in your account.
