This step ensures that the data can be read, grouped, and correctly displayed in charts, tables, metrics, and filters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, before starting the configuration, it is important to check two fundamental points in your spreadsheet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-identificar-o-formato-da-planilha\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-1\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-1\"><strong>1. Identify the format of the spreadsheet<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, you need to check how the data is arranged in your spreadsheets. To do this, see which of the following structures your spreadsheet falls into:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Vertical spreadsheets<\/strong>  In this structure, titles should be in the  <strong> first row<\/strong>  with the data below them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Horizontal spreadsheets<\/strong>  Structure where titles are in the  <strong> first column<\/strong>  with data laid out beside them in the subsequent columns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-separador-decimal\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-2\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-2\"><strong>2. Decimal separator<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check if the decimal separator used in the spreadsheet, whether a dot or comma, is the same as configured in your project within Reportei.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If they are different, it will be necessary to adjust  <strong>either the spreadsheet or the project settings <\/strong>  so that they use the  <strong> same separator.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u26a0\ufe0f<em>  Attention: Changing the project settings will impact  <strong> all the reports and dashboards<\/strong>  linked to it. Otherwise, columns classified with this type will be ignored in metric creation and data analysis.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dica-final\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-4\"><span id=\"helpie-sp-4\"><strong>Final tip<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Correct classification of columns ensures accurate data interpretation in all visualizations. If any column is incorrectly classified or outdated, it may compromise data transfer.
