Thus, in most cases, you resolve the issue right there without needing to open the Manager.

The feature works on any project with an integrated Meta Ads account and does not depend on a plan.

What are Meta Ads alerts

The alerts are issues that Meta itself reports in the ad account. For instance, a fatigue that is just beginning falls into this category and waits in the tab, so not every light notification becomes urgent at the top of the project. That’s why the number of alerts in the tab might be greater than the number announced on the banner; the difference corresponds to the Information-level alerts.

The alerts tab

When you click on View alerts, you open the same window as the Opportunity Score but now with two tabs Opportunity Score and Meta Ads account alerts This second tab already shows in parentheses how many alerts are open.

Within it, you can filter the alerts by type; there’s an All filter and a filter for each of the four types, each with its own count. Additionally, the alerts follow a severity order: first Errors, then Attention, and finally Information.

Each alert appears as a card with the problem title, the affected ad or set, how long the problem has been open, the explanation in Portuguese, and the What to do section.

What you can do with each alert

The actions that appear on the card depend on what Meta allows to be done with that object.

Pause available while the object is still running. You click once to confirm and a second time to apply.

Reactivate replaces the Pause button when the object is already paused. It also requests confirmation and warns that broadcasting will resume and may incur costs again.

Change creative appears when the issue is with the creative itself and the ad accepts the change. Clicking opens the change creative window described below.

Open in Ads Manager appears when Reportei does not yet offer an action for that issue. The button takes you directly to the affected object within the Ads Manager already filtered.

Hide the alert each card has a shortcut that removes the alert from the list without resolving it.

When a card does not provide any editing action, a question mark icon next to the button explains why that issue can only be resolved in the Manager. This happens for three possible reasons: the ad boosts a post or uses a dynamic format, the issue is catalog-related and belongs to Meta, or it involves a policy review that only Meta can complete.

If the object has already been archived or deleted on Meta, the card shows this status instead of the pause button since there’s nothing more to pause there.

The change creative window

When you click on Change creative, you solve the creative issue without leaving Reportei. The window comprises three sections, all optional. Use only what you need.

Choose new media you see the images and videos that already exist in the ad account and can also upload a new file. If the account has no media yet, the window notifies you and requests an upload for you to continue.

Edit the ad texts you change the ad name, main text, title, description, destination link, and call to action. A blank field retains the current text, and the call to action also offers the option No change in addition to the options Meta provides.

Choose how to apply:

Replace in this ad Meta analyzes the ad again and activates it afterwards.

Duplicate into a new ad Reportei creates a new ad with what you chose while the current ad remains as it is.

If you prefer, you can also click on I’d rather adjust in Ads Manager and make the adjustment directly in the Manager.

Upon completion, the tab shows the corresponding confirmation. The creative was replaced and the ad resubmitted for review, or A new ad was created with the chosen media.

Hide and re-display alerts

When an alert is not relevant at the moment, you can hide it. It then leaves the main list and goes to the hidden list, accessible via the Show hidden alerts button.

In this list, each alert has two buttons Re-display which returns the alert to the main list and Delete which permanently removes it with prior confirmation.

It’s worth remembering that re-displaying an alert doesn’t always bring it back. If Meta reported the same issue again while it was hidden, the newer alert is already on the list, and Reportei informs you that this issue already appears in the open alerts.

When the alert disappears on its own

The alert closes as soon as the problem ceases to exist. This happens in three ways:

the object resumes broadcasting normally,

Meta itself notifies that the problem is resolved, as in the case of recovering fatigue,

you archive or delete the ad, and the problem disappears with it.

In any of these cases, the alert exits the list without requiring any action from you.

Important notes

As soon as you connect the ad account, it automatically starts receiving alerts without any setup; activation occurs in the background after you enter the platform.

Not every account can activate the feature; sometimes Meta declines activation, usually due to the advertiser’s own permission restrictions, and in these cases, the alerts simply do not appear.

The tab displays a maximum of 50 alerts per project; when there are more than that, it notifies you that it is showing only the most recent alerts.

Catalog alerts have no action within Reportei since adjustments need to be made in Meta’s catalog; therefore, the card directs you straight there.

The problem’s explanation comes from Meta and often arrives in English. Nevertheless, Reportei translates the most common cases into Portuguese, such as creative fatigue and product sets with few items, while keeping Meta’s original text for the rest.

The alert list updates every time you open the tab. Therefore, a problem you’ve already resolved directly in the Ads Manager will continue to appear until your next visit to the tab.

If your project/client has no alerts at the moment, you will see the message No alerts in this ad account, and Reportei will notify you as soon as Meta reports any issue.

If you have any questions, contact our Support team via chat.

When Meta blocks the delivery of an ad, disapproves a creative due to policy, or warns that an ad is wearing out the audience, this notification usually remains hidden within the Ads Manager.
