Google has released the new version of Analytics, GA4, and is encouraging (mainly new accounts) to be set up from there. However, this new version isn’t ready for even the most basic and common things like the configuration for E-Commerces. One of its most important APIs is in alpha and several other APIs, necessary to integrate in software such as Reportei, don’t exist.
This means that if you have a property in Google Analytics 4, for now, you won’t be able to integrate Reportei or other software and will need to create a new property, in the old model, Universal Analytics.
To do this, follow the tutorial in this video and then set up a view. That way, you will be able to integrate the account here in Reportei and generate reports! =)
However, it’s worth remembering that it won’t be possible to see in the reports the data that appears in the new version. We’ll only be able to capture those generated after the creation of this Universal Analytics property. At the moment, this is the only alternative to be able to integrate the account and generate the reports.
We are on the lookout for any news, and as soon as Google releases an API for Google Analytics 4 we will be ready to implement it and release it to all Reportei customers. =D
